Cookie Policy

Effective: 25 June 2026·Governing law: Federal Republic of Nigeria

Short version

Campus Assistant uses exactly one cookie — an HTTP-only authentication session cookie called campus_session. We use no analytics cookies, no advertising cookies, and no third-party tracking technologies. If you are not logged in, no cookies are set.

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website when you visit it. They allow the website to remember information about your visit — such as whether you are logged in — across page loads and sessions.

Cookies are governed in Nigeria by the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA) 2023 and the NDPC General Application and Implementation Directive (GAID) 2025. Where cookies involve personal data, they are also subject to our Privacy Policy.

  • No Social media trackers: Social sharing buttons on our site do not set cookies or load third-party scripts without your interaction.

  • No Third-party cookies: No third-party service deposits cookies on your device through our Platform.

6. If We Ever Add More Cookies

We may introduce additional cookies in future (for example, preference or analytics cookies) only after providing 30 days' advance notice via email and in-app notification, and only after obtaining your explicit consent where required by NDPA 2023. This Cookie Policy will be updated at that time with full details of any new cookies. Our current commitment is to remain cookie-minimal.
